A call to connect at the Toronto-based Builders Show Dec. 4th to 6th.

"I'm NOT an expert by any means. But why reinvent the wheel if there are people who have been there, done that?"

We received the following email from Joseph Hough, a carpenter, engineering student and articulate and enthusiastic contributor  to Canadian Contractor magazine. If you are planning to attend the Builders Show in December in Toronto (here’s the link to the show website) and are looking for a wide ranging conversation about energy efficient building and Passive House in particular, send him an email!

Hello,

I’m a carpenter who is based in Vancouver right now as well as engineering student. I contributed an article before to The Canadian Contractor: “Towards The Passive House: A short history of energy-efficient housing in Canada.” I’m attending The Buildings Show in Toronto Convention Centre starting December 4th through December 6th. I’m wondering if any residential carpenters or builders would be interested in meeting with me, during the show, to discuss managerial or technical sides of the building trade.
I’m obviously interested in sharing experiences…this helps accelerate the personal as well as business growth. I’m NOT an expert by any means. But why reinvent the wheel if there are people who have been there, done that?
Interested parties may write to me at efficientcarpenter@gmail.com.
I promise to return all emails.
Regards,
Joseph Hough
